Schemes start with a simple discount card where card holders can have varying discounts according to the type of card they have been given and/or the category of products they purchase.
Where there are several sites, a typical loyalty scheme could be a points based system where points are awarded against purchases to a card holder’s account. These points can be redeemed at any time and at any point of sale, including being used for full or part payment for a purchase.
