All Geller PC based systems and several cash register based terminals are capable of running a variety of customer account schemes for hospitality and general retailing.
These accounts may be pre-paid or credit based systems. Prepaid is commonly used in members’ clubs and leisure and other closed environments. Typically, members who pre-pay are given an incentive such as discounted prices. For example, they may pay £85 and be allowed £100 worth of spend.
An example of payment on account is hotels where items are billed to customers’ room accounts. Several Geller terminals have interfaces to hotel PMS packages.
