Some Geller cash registers and all Geller PC based terminals can communicate with each other. This means that sales started on one terminal in the network can be finalised on any other terminal in the network. Updates such as product name and price changes made on one terminal can be automatically broadcast to all other terminals in the network.
Geller PC-based touch screen terminals using GellerTouch Software employ standard Microsoft Windows networking. Geller cash register Model SX-690 uses a proprietary network system called IRC (Inter Register Communication). Geller Model ML-790 and all Geller-Vectron models use TCP IP networking.
